1. About CaseChaser
CaseChaser is a self-service tool to help individuals track communication with their solicitor, generate chaser emails and stay on top of deadlines. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.
3. Payment
Unlocking the chase tools costs a one-off £24.99 for your first case and £7.99 for each additional case, processed by Stripe. There is no recurring subscription.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use CaseChaser to send abusive, threatening or unlawful messages. You are responsible for the content of any chaser or complaint you send.
5. Gmail OAuth access
By connecting your Gmail account you grant CaseChaser read-only access to your inbox. We use this access solely to detect emails from your monitored solicitor contacts and log them automatically. We do not send, edit or delete emails on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time.
6. AI-generated content
The chase-email feature uses Anthropic's API to generate draft messages based on the case information you supply. AI-generated content is provided as a convenience and does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any message before sending it.
7. Document uploads
You may upload documents to your case for your own reference. You retain ownership of any documents you upload. CaseChaser stores these files securely and makes them available only to you while you are logged into your account.
8. Email reminders
We may send you email reminders about your case deadlines and chase schedules. You can opt out of reminder emails at any time via your account settings or the unsubscribe link included in each reminder.
9. Not legal advice
Templates, deadlines and guidance in CaseChaser are for general information only and do not constitute legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult a qualified solicitor.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaseChaser is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
You can stop using CaseChaser at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
